1. About This Store

Benchmark Tools (the "Store," "we," "us," or "our") is an independent multi-brand power tool retailer operating at benchmarktools.us. The Store is operated by Northpine Commerce Partners, LLC, a privately held limited liability company that owns the storefront assets and is responsible for all transactions. Northpine Commerce Partners, LLC operates this Store under the separate public-facing retail name "Benchmark Tools."

We are an independent retailer, not an official brand store. We carry products from Craftsman, Black+Decker, Metabo HPT, and Ridgid so you can compare multiple major power tool brands in one place. We do not represent ourselves as an official brand store for any of the featured brands.

2. Acceptance of These Terms

By accessing or using benchmarktools.us, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our Site or place an order. We may update these terms from time to time, and your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

3. Eligibility and Accounts

To place an order on the Site, you must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract. You do not need to create an account to browse the Site, but you may be asked to provide contact and payment information to complete a purchase. If you choose to create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the ordering process.

4. Catalog Information and Product Listings

We work hard to ensure that product descriptions, specifications, images, model numbers, and included accessories are accurate. Each listing is reviewed before publication, and we verify the manufacturer model number, product name, key specifications, and included accessories against our supplier catalog before anything goes live.

While we strive for accuracy, minor variations may occur, and we reserve the right to correct errors, inaccuracies, or omissions at any time. If a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical or systems error, we may refuse or cancel any orders placed at the incorrect price, even if the order has been confirmed and payment processed. In such cases, we will issue a full refund for any amount charged.

Products sold as new are genuine units from the named manufacturer, with original branding and packaging. We do not sell used or refurbished tools unless a listing clearly and explicitly says otherwise. Every item in our standard catalog is new and authentic.

5. Pricing and Promotions

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars (USD). Listed prices can vary by brand, kit configuration, and market conditions. Manufacturer pricing rules, supply costs, and the timing of promotions can cause an item to cost more or less than it did earlier in the year. The price shown at checkout is the current price.

We operate as an independent, multi-brand retailer with a curated product catalog. Our pricing reflects a combination of competitive wholesale pricing, low operating overhead, and periodic promotions. We keep inventory focused on high-turning tools and accessories to avoid the costs of slow-moving stock, and we buy through authorized wholesale channels at negotiated volume pricing. Supplier allowances, early-order discounts, and verified one-time closeouts are passed on to customers when available. We do not chase gray-market deals that could cast doubt on authenticity or warranty coverage.

Price is entirely separate from condition. A lower price reflects purchasing and operating efficiency, never a decision to skip quality checks or sell something less than the original brand product.

6. Coupons and Discount Codes

From time to time, we may offer coupon codes or promotional discounts. For example, the code SAVE15 provides 15% off eligible items when applied at checkout. Coupon eligibility follows the rules presented at checkout, and not all items may qualify for every promotion. Coupons cannot be combined unless explicitly stated, and we reserve the right to modify or discontinue any promotion at any time.

Coupon offers are funded from supplier rebates that we choose to pass along, plus a share of our normal operating margin set aside for promotions. Offers are timed based on inventory, season, and brand marketing cycles.

7. Orders and Payment

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the items in your cart at the prices shown at checkout. We accept credit cards and PayPal as payment methods. By submitting an order, you authorize us to charge the total amount, including applicable taxes and shipping, to your selected payment method.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for reasons including, but not limited to, suspected fraud, pricing errors, or inventory availability. If we cancel your order after payment has been processed, we will issue a full refund to the original payment method.

8. Shipping

We offer free standard shipping on orders over $45.00. For orders below that threshold, standard shipping is a flat $8.00. Shipping times are estimated at checkout and may vary based on carrier performance and destination. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the carrier. Please inspect your order upon receipt as described in Section 11 below.

9. Returns

Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may request a return by contacting our support team at support@benchmarktools.us with your order number and the reason for return. Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging, with all included accessories, manuals, and documentation.

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process your refund to the original payment method. Refunds are generally issued within 5–10 business days after we receive the returned item. Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.

10. Warranty

Warranty coverage follows the product information and support guidance provided by the respective manufacturer. Many power tools from Craftsman, Black+Decker, Metabo HPT, and Ridgid include manufacturer warranties, but the specific terms, duration, and coverage are determined by each brand. Please refer to the manufacturer documentation included with your product, or visit the brand's official warranty page for details. We do not administer manufacturer warranties, but we will help you connect with the right support if you have warranty questions about your purchase.

11. Authenticity, Quality, and Inspection

We commit that products sold as new are genuine units from the named manufacturer, with original branding and packaging. Every item in our standard catalog is new, and we do not sell used or refurbished tools unless a listing clearly says otherwise.

All products are sourced through authorized wholesale distribution channels for the featured brands. We do not buy from auction resellers or open-market sellers, and we reject any lot that lacks a clean supply chain or visible manufacturer markings. Incoming shipments are spot-checked for damage and correct labels at our warehouse. Items are stored in a dry, climate-controlled area and are handled with protective packaging. Any product that arrives damaged from our supplier is refused or quarantined.

When your order arrives: check the outer carton for damage before opening it. Inspect the tool and all accessories against the listing, keep the original box, and test the product according to the included manual. If something looks wrong, contact us promptly and provide photos as described below.

12. Quality and Authenticity Issue Resolution

If you believe a product is not genuine, does not match its listing, or has a quality issue, please contact us at support@benchmarktools.us with the following information:

• The original order number or the email address used for the order.
• A description of the exact issue, including whether the item is new, unused, or used.
• Clear photos of the product, its packaging, and any visible model or serial numbers.
• The brand and model number that appears on the item itself.

Our review process works as follows:

• The first response is an acknowledgment with the next step.
• The quality team compares the claim details against the order and listing.
• If more evidence is needed, we ask for one specific set of follow-up photos or details.
• A final decision is provided in plain language, with options for replacement, repair, return, or refund.

If any product is proven not to be genuine or not to match its listing, we will provide a full refund or replacement, including reasonable return shipping costs, within the limits of the applicable return policy. When a confirmed issue is found, we resolve it without arguing about fine print. If we cannot confirm the issue, we explain why and offer a clear path to escalate the matter.

All content on this Site, including text, graphics, logos, images, product descriptions, and software, is the property of Benchmark Tools, Northpine Commerce Partners, LLC, or their respective owners and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, NORTHPINE COMMERCE PARTNERS, LLC AND BENCHMARK TOOLS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM (i) YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SITE; (ii) ANY PRODUCT PURCHASED THROUGH THE SITE; OR (iii) ANY OTHER MATTER RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR PURCHASE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR PURCHASES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SPECIFIC PRODUCT THAT GAVE RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100.00).

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms or your use of the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Franklin County, Ohio.
