I needed a small saw for cutting plywood and this works great. It's lightweight and easy to control. The battery lasts long enough for most of my projects. Great price!

The saw is well-made and cuts smoothly, but the 5-1/2 inch blade means it can't cut through thicker wood. For framing lumber you'd need a bigger saw. For trim work and plywood, it's perfect.

As a retiree, I don't need a heavy duty saw. This one is light, easy to use, and does everything I need. I've used it to build a planter box and some shelves. The laser guide is a nice touch. I'd definitely recommend it to other weekend warriors.

It cuts okay, but the depth adjustment is a bit fiddly. Also, the dust blower doesn't work that well. But for $50, it's acceptable if you only need it occasionally.

I tried to cut some oak and it bogged down. The saw jams easily and the blade seems to dull quickly. Not suitable for anything beyond softwood or plywood.

This saw is fine for cutting small pieces. I make picture frames and it's ideal for that. The cut depth is shallow, though, so it's not for heavy framing. But for hobby stuff, it's great.
