Works well, but you need enough clearance from the wall. The hook itself is heavy-duty and the latch is secure.

I installed two of these on my Versatrack wall system. They hold our bikes effortlessly. The non-slip coating keeps the bike from scratching, and the locking latch is easy to use. My garage is finally organized. Excellent product!
