Yes, with the appropriate SDS Plus bit designed for rebar, this rotary hammer can handle concrete with rebar. The 2.2 ft-lbs impact energy provides sufficient power for tough jobs.
It accepts all SDS Plus bits up to 1-1/8 inches in diameter for concrete drilling. Larger hole saws may be used with appropriate adapters.
Yes, it has three modes: hammer drilling, chipping, and drilling. Switch to chipping mode for demolition and chiseling work.
With a BSL36A18 battery, it can drill approximately 120 holes (0.33" x 16" drill bit). Actual results vary with battery condition and material.
It is part of the MultiVolt system, so it uses 36V batteries. It also can be used with an AC adapter. It does not accept 18V batteries directly.

This thing hammers through concrete like butter. Unbelievable power for the price.
It's a beast. Drilled 1/2" holes in foundation with ease. But it's heavy and you need the 36V battery (not included). For the price, you can't beat it.
I've used it for several projects, from drilling anchor holes to chipping tile. The three modes work perfectly, and the vibration control is a lifesaver. It's not light, but that's expected for a rotary hammer. This is now my go-to tool for any masonry job.
It works well, but there's a loud noise from the brushes at full speed. Not sure if that's normal. Also, the side handle feels a bit flimsy. But for the sale price, it's a reasonable tool.
I couldn't believe the price when I saw it. I've used it to drill several 1" holes in concrete, and it didn't break a sweat. It came in a plain box, but that's fine. Highly recommended.
Takes a while to get used to the weight, but well worth it. The SDS chuck holds bits securely. I've only had it a month, but so far, it's been flawless. Just remember it's tool only.
I was excited for this, but it died on me after two days of light use. The reset switch didn't help. I had to return it. Frustrating. Maybe I got a lemon.
This rotary hammer is a monster. I drilled 30 holes in reinforced concrete for railing posts, and it never bogged down. The vibration reduction is excellent. If you need a reliable hammer drill, get this.
Works great, but it drains a 36V battery quickly. I recommend getting the 4.0Ah battery or bigger. That said, for the price, it's a bargain. Just plan to have spare batteries.
This replaced my corded rotary hammer, and I'm glad I made the switch. It has plenty of power for most jobs, and the cordless convenience is a bonus. The price was ridiculously low compared to other brands. Absolutely satisfied.
