I'm a hobbyist woodworker and this router does everything I need. It's got plenty of power for my projects. The plunge mechanism is smooth, no sticking. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the included instruction manual is a bit confusing, but I figured it out. Also, it's a bit heavy, but that's expected for a full-size router. Overall, great value.
