RIDGID 40210 BC610 Bench Chain Vise – 11x11x7, Red

This vise is solid and holds chains firmly. Great for the price.

I've used it to hold pipe chains while cutting threads. It grips securely and the base is stable. The only downside is it's a bit bulky, but that's expected.

I've had mine for a few months now, and it's been fantastic. The chain mechanism locks tight, and the jaws don't mar the chain. It's US-made, which is a plus. If you do any chain work, this is a must-have.

The vise works fine once mounted, but the bolt holes didn't line up with my bench. I had to drill new ones. Also, the red paint chips easily. Overall, it's functional.

I've used this for professional plumbing work for over a year. It holds chains of all sizes without slipping. The construction is top-notch. Definitely recommend it.

It works great for standard sizes, but I tried to use it with a 4" chain and it was a tight fit. It's a solid vise, just be aware of the size limitations.

The chain doesn't grip as well as I hoped. Even with the lever tightened, it slips when I apply force. I've tried adjusting it, but no luck. Disappointed in RIDGID quality.
